Mayherps i should blame her for starting this whole notion that girls and boys can't just be friends, After all she crooned it to gullible teenagers in her song "Skitter boy". Avril Lavigne is her name just in case you are still wondering who i am going on about.
Truth be told though it is not her fault at all, she too is slave to the thought school set out by the world all around us she is one in a pool of billions who believe there's no such thing as friendship between a girl and a boy.

So what if we are tighter than most? So what if we share almost everything? So what if we are free with each other?, i see nothing in the three things above that suggests we are dating. Unfotunately, in this ocean i swim alone, if there any others out there like me they are either hiding behind really huge rocks or they just lost their voices but i will speak up for my kind. It is very possible.
Trust me until you can interact with the opposite sex with no strings attached, you are not ready to be an adult and it leaves alot to be said about your self control.
Ofcourse there are several adults who can not pull this off either, i think for anything to work, it depends on ones mindset, if you purpose to be the best you can be in any relationship, be it with a girl or a boy and enjoy it to the fullest you would be shocked at how free you can become with any individual and how much you can share.
Platonic relationships between members of opposite sexes are not an illusion, they are realistic and i have heard the saying, "it usually turns messy because one person grows to think and want more from the friendship than the other party" but this doesn't always happen and when it does i believe you are all friends enough to work your way out of it or away from it, isn't that what friendship is all about?, Being there for eachother no matter the circumstance?, even if you disagree on certain beliefs and things, if you are friends enough, can't these things be worked out?, A friend, a true friend is not hindered by small talk from people who are always going to talk anyway, so what if they believe your seeing each other?, so what if they think that the friendship is a facade? Who cares what they say anyway? Truth be told this whole idea of what people will say has never phased me much, on anything. So if i want to be friends with some one, i will not hold back or treat them any differently because they are a guy, the rest of the world just has to deal with it, i will be there for them just as i would be there for a girl, Impartial and i suggest you do the same.

Now don't start saying, she has no idea what she is talking about and oh well, some of us have seen it first hand, we have experience because I, have experience too. I have friends like the ones in the pictures above that are unafraid of living their lives and being true friends at all occassions not only when the world (Society) deems it right but true friends in the real sense of the word, they are there in the good times and the bad and will not allow to be sidelined from whatever problems you have because of their gender, they will listen to you no matter how silly your argument is and will set you straight whenever need arises, do not over think it just be friends and enjoy the best friendship has to offer, share, communicate, understand and love one another, post whatever pictures you want on whatever site, facebook, twitter, you name it and dont let any one stop you because they think otherwise, because they saw a picure on facebook and are convinced you are seeing this person. Thats their problem, let them deal with it, you be the best friend you can be and someday,hopefully someday soon, they just might see the light. People are brainwashed all the time with the worlds notions and beliefs, well here is mine, what do you have to say?
